Causing a Storm in Durham Region

Lets talk about some local talent for a moment.  There is one DJ that I had the pleasure of meeting a while back through a friend and grateful I did.  DJ Storm is a Toronto born DJ and his high-energy house and club mixes gives true meaning of a DJ works hard for its people.  There are some clubs that you go to and you hear a DJ mixing music – when you hear DJ Storm you not only hear multiple tracks being cut into one another but will you feel the music and energy he is expressing.

I still wait in anticipation for his various releases that he publishes on almost a 1-2 month bases with fresh released music such as Spring Break, Ibiza sessions and Partyology.  Some of my favorites are ‘the sessions’ which is usually a 2-hour set of his take on the newest house and club hits.  Weather you are getting ready for the club, taking a long drive of just trying to get through a day at work check out his Soundcloud page and download his free sets.

DJ Storm has had various radio appearances, won many DJ challenges and played at festivals throughout Canada and the USA.  He has also held residences at some of Toronto’s and Canada’s biggest nightclubs such as The Docks, Whiskey Saigon, Limelight, Fluid, Joe and Atlantis. Currently he calls the Junction nightclub home where he holds his weekly residency.

Junction nightclub is located in Oshawa, Canada (as well as in Peterborough) and is one of the better clubs established in the Durham Region.  It is a decent size club and has a beautiful interior and illuminated bar that share the class of various Toronto nightclubs.  There big promotion is currently Sexy Saturdays and also host various events throughout the year.
