You heard it right, the Swedish House Mafia will be playing there final set as a “group” at the Ultra MusicFestival. The is a love-love relationship because for Ultra, they are celebrating their 15th anniversary and the first Electronic music festival to span over 2 weekends and for SHM they voice Ultra is where it all started.
The split of the group is not a negative thing; it will allow them to expand their musical talents to the direction that they see favorable. There solo tours and shows have already been taken in a positive light and this just means that they can always retour at a future date. Go out big, make it scarce then bring it back - this is going to happen!
As for Ultra, as already mentioned they are up to big things in there 15th year of lighting up Downtown Miami. They have already gone through a phase of pre-sale tickets that sold-out and now they are selling regular priced tickets. You have the option of purchasing general or VIP for either weekends or single weekends to suite your needs. There is currently no other line-up information but the SHM announcement will be just the beginning. It is even rumoured that Daft Punk will be releasing an album in 2013 – what better way to start their tour than at Ultra!
